Nadine nilsson
Master violin maker
The opportunity to combine violin playing, art & technology in one profession sparked her interest early on. Since she started playing the violin at the age of 10 in Germany, she has always had a longing for even more sound.
She trained as a violin maker in Mittenwald, Germany in 2003 and, after specializing in repair and restoration, received her master's certificate in 2013 in Sweden.
Further developing the sound and always getting the best out of each instrument has become her personal challenge, the creation of new instruments her great passion.
As a violin maker, she has a deep interest in the cello's wide range of sounds, its construction and history.
The playing itself is the basis for her great interest in sound and violin construction and continues through various projects in life that involve both violin and cello playing.
Thanks to collaboration with many cellists, she has been able to specialize in timbre adjustment and timbre formation.
